Terms and conditions

MY MEDITERRANEAN HOME is a company dedicated to the rental and management of holiday homes in Spain.

Booking conditions
- The flat has been decorated, furnished and cleaned so that you can enjoy it to its full potential. We ask that you treat it with care and dedication so that future guests can enjoy it in the same way, thank you very much!
- Our flats require a minimum stay depending on the season.
- A holiday rental contract will be signed at the time of booking the flat.
- The reservation of the flat is made by paying the rent for the flat.
- At the time of booking we require payment of 30% of the total amount of the reservation.
- The reservation can be cancelled for any reason up to 15 days before the check-in date. Between 1 and 15 days before the date of Check-in the reservation will be cancellable with a 30% penalty and if the cancellation is made 24 hours before the date of arrival the penalty is 100% and no refund of any amount previously paid will be made.
- Payment can be made by bank transfer, debit or credit card.
- The rest of the payment of the reservation must be made 15 days before arrival at the flat. In case of non-receipt of payment, the booking will be automatically cancelled and no refund will be made.
- It is recommended to take out travel cancellation insurance. Any cancellation, including force majeure, will be subject to our clear and simple cancellation policy mentioned here.
- Should My Mediterranean Home be unable to provide the client with the property they have booked, we reserve the right to transfer the client to a property of similar characteristics. If no agreement can be reached, both contractual parties are entitled to cancel the contract. In this case, My Mediterranean Home will refund the client all the money paid (except for the part corresponding to the days of stay already made, if this is the case). My Mediterranean Home will not be responsible for future claims by the client.

Security Deposit (Deposit)
A minimum deposit of 200 Euros is required as a guarantee in case of breakage. This deposit will be returned at the latest 5 days after check-out.
In the event of any damage, theft or loss of any object, the cost of the same will be deducted from this deposit.
Please remember that, by accepting our Terms and Conditions, you agree that any damage caused by you or your companions will be deducted from your deposit and that you are also responsible for any damage exceeding the amount of the deposit.

About arrival and departure
Preparing for your arrival
- Please make sure that we have your updated arrival time so that we can have your flat ready for you.

Arrival day
- The entrance to our flats is "autonomous", i.e. we will send you all the information to pick up the keys and enter the flat without having to wait for anyone.
- The flat will be available from 14:00 hours, but we will always try to accommodate guests as soon as possible.

About your departure from the flat
- Departures must be made at 11:00 am or earlier. Any unauthorised departure after 11:00hrs will be penalised.
- If you require a later check-out please ask if this is possible when you check-in. We will try to accommodate as long as our next arrival is not early on the same day. Any check-out after 17:00hrs will be subject to the full price per day.

About the cleaning of the flat
- In all our stays we provide 1 set of clean towels and sheets. Additional towels and sheets can be added at an extra cost.
- The flat will be completely clean before the arrival of each client.
- The cleaning of the flat during the stay is the responsibility of the occupants.
- The client undertakes to preserve and maintain the property in good condition.
- Cleaning utensils are available in the flat.

About the number and the identity of guests
- The client shall inform the number of guests included in the booking.
- The client will have to send all the data of the guests over 14 years old staying in the flat required by My Mediterranean Home. We need to comply with Order INT/1922/2003 and send the data to the National Police.
- Unless otherwise agreed, only the number of persons indicated by the client at the time of booking is authorised to use the flat.
- Pets are not allowed except those authorised by the owner.
- In the event of any breach of the aforementioned obligations, the owner of the flat at his own discretion shall have the right to ask the client to leave the flat, and the client shall not be entitled to claim any compensation whatsoever.

About behaviour
- Loud music and parties are prohibited. Guests staying in the flat should be aware that, should parties or loud music occur, or neighbours complain and/or call the police, this may result in immediate eviction regardless of the time of day or night.
- Rest hours are from 10.00 PM to 10.00 AM. We greatly appreciate your cooperation in this matter and hope that you understand that these rules are necessary, as these flats are all located in residential buildings where people who have to get up early for work live, and the rest of the residents' night-time rest must be respected.
- The client, when signing the contract, will be subject to a correct and decent behaviour by all the people accompanying him/her. If this person, or any of the persons accompanying him/her does not behave in a proper and responsible manner, the owner shall have the right to ask the client and the persons accompanying him/her to leave the flat without the right to future claims or any kind of compensation. This will also result in the forfeiture of the rent and the refundable security deposit.
- Smoking is not permitted in the flat or in the communal areas of the complex. If the flat smells of smoke when you leave, the full amount of the security deposit will be retained.
- Please also remember that by booking our flats you have already accepted our terms and conditions, and consequently you will be expected to abide by these rules.

About responsibilities
- The flat owner shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damage that may occur as a result of the tenant's misuse of the flat, including but not limited to damage, loss due to fire, theft or criminal behaviour.
- In case of any breach of the aforementioned obligations, the owner at his own discretion shall have the right to ask the client to leave the flat, and the client shall not be entitled to claim any compensation whatsoever.
